Making Tax Digital is Here!
If you are a business owner, you will be aware of Making Tax Digital. Businesses which are VAT
registered and whose turnover is greater than £85,000 will now have to submit their VAT returns via a software package that is approved by HMRC rather than using the Gateway. As of 1 April, the date which the digital reporting
requirement became mandatory, HMRC confirmed that less than 100,000 firms have signed up to the new service, meaning more than a million small business are yet to integrate with the Making Tax Digital for VAT system.
If you are one of these small businesses that need to take action now then My Accounts Office can help or can offer training on Xero, one of the HMRC approved software packages, via their sister company Xero Training Centre.
Fed up with hearing about Making Tax Digital but don’t know where to start? Come and talk to us!
We offer friendly and affordable accounts and bookkeeping services whilst avoiding the stereotypes of the accounting industry – no extortionate fees, jargon or suits.
Or are you happy doing your own bookkeeping but need help converting to digital software? Our sister company, Xero Training Centre, can help!
