NC A&T freshman Cambrea Sturgis (Kannapolis) helped the 4X100 relay team to a season best 45.12 time at the Aggie Relays. Sturgis has a MEAC leading time of 23.02 in the 200 meters and is second behind Indoor NCAA Track Athlete of the Year Kayla white in the 100 meters with a time of 11.24.
NC A&T freshman Brandon Hicklin ( Spartanburg SC) won the long jump with a leap of 24 feet 5.75 inches at the Aggie Relays. Hicklin currently leads the MEAC in the LJ with a leap of 25 ft 1.25 inches.
NC A&T pole vaulter Jayne Roberts ( junior Wichita Kansas) finished 6th at theAggie Relays with a vault of 11 ft .25 inches. Roberts currently ranks second in the MEAC with a season best vault of11 ft 4.25 inches.
NC A&T's Daquan Maddox ( senior Winston Salem) won the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Aggie Relays in a time of 9:58.90. He time was good enough to rank 4th in the MEAC.
The NC A&T threesome of (LR) of Monzerad Creary (High Point freshman), Kristoni Barnes (Wake Forest junior) and Shalah Means (New York, NY freshman) finished 7th (2:11.30); 4th (2:09.56) and 15th (2:14.56) respectively in the 800 meters at the Aggie Relays. Creary and Means posted career best times. Barnes leads the MEAC with a personal and season best 2:07.56.
NC A&T's Tori Ray (Senior Hampton, VA) ran 54.51 at the Aggie Relays to finish 3rd in the 400 meters. However, Ray has a MEAC season leading time of 53.96.
NC A&T's Daquan Maddox ( senior Winston Salem) won the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Aggie Relays in a time of 9:58.90. He time was good enough to rank 4th in the MEAC.
In her first attempt at the 3000 meter steeplechase, NC A&T G' Jasmyn Butler (Junior Raleigh) ran a 11:41.7. Her time is the second best behind Murgor Nancy's 11:36.08 of Florida A&M.
