BLAST INTO THE WATER ROCKET CHALLENGE
Scientists and engineers at (NPL) will be celebrating 20 Rocket Challenge by entering into the Guinness Book of rocket ever built.
Raising money for charity NPL’s Water Rocket Challenge takes place on Wednesday easy and fun way for adults and young people to get involved about the laws of gravity, as well charity.
During the day, the annual challenge invites school teams of up to 6 students, from all across rockets and launchers. Teams will carefully balance their use of rocket weight and design, water and air pressure to blast their rocket from their launchpad
The aim is to launch a rocket and Bonus points can be earned for the challenge will be opened up to spectators, family and youth teams. There will be workshops in the evening, open to amateur rocket scientists of any age wanting own rocket.

Going for the world record of their annual Water Rocket Challenge, engineering apprentices from NPL are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest water rocket launch ever built! NPL last held the world record for the largest water whopping 3.4 m tall!
