Popular Flea Market returns to Woodbridge for its eleventh year

ACTION Medical Research’s popular

Woodbridge Flea

Market returns to Woodbridge Community Hall on Sunday 24th February, from 10am until 4pm, and hopes to raise over £1,000 for sick babies and children. Organised and managed by local resident, Jenny Seager, the Woodbridge Flea Market has been a reoccurring event in Woodbridge for over eleven years, raising over £20,000 for Action Medical Research in that time.

The market, which costs just £1 for adults, and is free for children, showcases a range of antique and collectable items, sold by local individuals, and also includes a fully functioning kitchen where you collect that always desired bacon butty and cup of tea on a Sunday morning.

Jenny has supported Action Medical Research for many years, and twice a year she takes on the task of preparing and managing the fl ea markets, run in February and December each year. Jenny also runs the ever popular Action Medical Research Bingo Night on Tuesday at the Woodbridge Community Hall. Lyndsay Wood, the charity’s Community Fundraising Manager for the East said: “We’re really grateful for Jenny’s commitment to the charity – her support and dedication over the years
