Message From the President | Executive Director
Hello and welcome; let me introduce myself, I am Kristi Meek, the new face and voice of the Chamber and its membership. It was an honour to have recently been selected as the new President | Executive Director of the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce (ACC) following the unexpected passing of Richard Halliday. I have big shoes to fill for all our members who worked closely with him, and what I can promise is that my ears will always be open to hear what you have to say and share.
The year ahead is full of opportunities and changes. The opportunities lie within our strategic plan that will be reviewed and executed over the next year, as well as with the ideas and suggestions provided by our members. The changes will occur with the help and guidance of our board and the input and commitment of our members. Together, with your investment in membership and the support of our partnering organizations, we will make good things happen!
Lastly, whether it be to advocate on your behalf, inspire you to achieve your dreams, coach you and your team to improve your business or to help with the smallest of tasks and grandest of projects - I truly believe that my purpose in life is to help others achieve their best. Please know that the coffee is always on at the Chamber office (2061 Portage Avenue).
