“Investigate the feasibility of a steel locker with a wood effect finish to compete with traditional expensive wood lockers.”


Special Feature(s) Worked closely with a specialist supplier of powder coated finishes. Trials where carried out using a unique formulation to give a quality grained wood effect finish that can withstand severe misuse. Still in development.


Locker Specification 1800h x 300w x 450d mm three door locker with a laminate door and sloping top. Fitted with a type 1 padlock fitting.

“Required a multi compartment locker that can offer a robust design featuring a rebated door to guard against mis-use.”


Incorporates a sloping top to help prevent storage outside the locker. Clutch type padlock to prevent mis-use of the lock. Supplied with an all black carcass with a Fundermax Arctic Punto door finish. The material thickness of the door was 12mm and was maufactured to accept engraved numbering discs for locker identification.

Offered a solid grade laminate material in place of Beech wood slats. Laminate material is available in many colours and finishes, is hardwearing, easy to clean and is resistant to moisture ingress.
