Winter Solstice
What a shock to the system to transition from -1 degree in Findhorn when I left to 40 degrees on
arrival.The first thing to “hit me” were the glorious Jacaranda trees in full bloom, their giant purple blossoms screaming “it’s
springtime”. The brilliant red of the flame trees is now lighting up the countryside. No need for fairy lights on these beauties. I am rapt by the flora and fauna of this elemental land, such a contrast to Scotland. I hear a kookaburra having a laugh.Time to go home...
