The Fromus Community Centre R

un by a small but dedicated band of local volunteers (The Saxmundham

& District CIC), The Fromus Centre, conveniently located opposite the Fire and Police Station on Seaman Avenue, is now firmly established as the commu- nity centre for the people of Saxmund- ham and local area.

Now in its ninth year of operation, use of the centre has steadily grown and is used daily by a large and diverse group of clubs, organisations and individuals. Regular users of the centre include two local CIC’s (Leading Lives and Realise Futures), NHS Maternity Services are now based daily at the centre, Pilates

Group, Pastel, Brownies & Guides, Tai Chi, a weekly Mother and Toddler Group, SCYPPS and Suffolk Coastal Learning courses and more.

The weekly Smile Community Café serves an excellent menu every Thurs- day lunchtime and everyone is welcome to just pop in. A large hall, meeting rooms and a kitchen area can be hired by the hour with free car parking. Birth- day parties are becoming increasingly popular, with plenty of safe space both inside and outside on the large grassed area.

If you have a special event coming up soon, please support your commu- nity and consider The Fromus Centre. More information can be found at www. fromuscentre.org.uk
