etCHingHill Village Hall - filM nigHt On Monday 19th november, the Residents' Association will be screening the 'The Greatest Showman' (PG). Starring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams and Zac Efron. Orphaned and penniless, Phineas Taylor Barnum, is remembered as the man with the gift to blur the line between reality and fiction. The son of a tailor manages to open a wax museum but soon shifts focus to introduce extraordinary, never-seen-before, live acts on the circus stage. Some will call Barnum’s wide collection of oddities a freak show. However, when he gambles everything on the opera singer, Jenny Lind, to appeal to a high-brow audience, he loses sight of the most important aspect of his life - his family. Will Barnum risk it all to be accepted? The entrance fee of £5.00 includes, admission, refreshments and a lucky draw ticket. New and existing members are welcome.
