Norfolk State University Seeks Community Input in Presidential Search

The NSU Board of Visitors recognizes that its most important work is the selection of the university’s next president. Within that context, they invite stakeholders to take an active interest in the search process and help shape the future of this outstanding institution.

NSU wants to hear from the community, students, parents and guardians, faculty, staff, colleagues and external stakeholders as they undertake the search for the new NSU president. What they learn from stakeholders about the qualities sought in the candidates will inform the selection process in a meaningful way.

Two Hampton Roads listening sessions remain for input in the NSU Presidential search process. The Presidential Search Listening sessions are scheduled locally for August 10: Noon for the --faith-based community and 2 pm the Hampton Roads Community. They will take place

in the Nursing and General Education Building, Room 101.
