It’s 30 years since comedian Joe Pasquale burst into the public consciousness when he appeared on the ITV Talent Show New Faces. And in 2018 Joe will celebrate this auspicious moment with a new stand up tour Joe Pasquale – A Few Of His Favourite
Things.Frequently described as a ‘comedy genius’ Joe Pasquale will treat audiences to a comedic mega mix of some of his best ‘cack’ with some new surprises on the way.
With a career spanning three decades the multi-talented comic’s energy is boundless and his talent and versatility limitless. Currently garnering critical acclaim for his comedic and very physical stage performance as the hapless and accident prone Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em on its debut UK theatre tour, Joe has also starred as King Arthur in Spamalot and as Leo Bloom in the touring production of The Producers, amongst others. A regular on our TV screens - he was crowned King of the Jungle in the 2004 I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here series, he learned to skate in Dancing on Ice in 2013, hosted The Price Is Right on ITV and makes regular appearances on Tonight At The London Palladium.
Joe has also challenged himself in shows like Sugar Free Farm where he
kicked his ‘sugar habit’; competed alongside Fatima Whitbread and Sally Gunnell in Total Wipeout and attempted to smash the record for the most amount of martial arts throws in a minute on Guinness World Records. He has honed his action man credentials along the way in shows such as The Prisoner X where he spent time in a Costa Rican prison and was shipped off to the jungles of Guyana for the Discovery Channel’s Alone in the Wild. And if all that isn’t quite enough he has used his unique vocal talents to voice characters for Hollywood movies – Garfield – A Tale of Two Kitties and Horton Hears A Who.
With seemingly no end to Joe Pasquale’s talents – he is also a qualified pilot, has run a London Marathon, and will soon get his first degree through the Open University – the much loved comic will be encouraging audiences to unleash their inner child and learn to laugh and play again!
