What do you consider to be your halo product? Is that a little like trying to pick out your favourite child? [laughing] Each product is one of my ‘babies’ and has been created to do a specific job, so I can’t pick just one, but my secret formula is to use a POWER TRIO: Eye Serum + Facial Serum + Cream. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Use these three products morning and night after cleansing and they will change your skin forever. Lines and wrinkles will start to disappear, the skin will look firmer, puffy eye bags will go and your skin will be glowing with health and vitality, soft, hydrated, smooth, looking years younger than your age. Plus the great news is that the longer you use these products the better the results! I personally use EYE LÌFT, UTOPÌA and DÈLUXE which is the secret formula for anyone over 40+ years. Younger skins 20-40 years should use EYE LÌFT, UTOPÌA and DRÈAM cream to stop the lines and wrinkles appearing; a simple, but super effective routine for busy people. Your range is for women and men and a variety of age ranges too; do you think people are more savvy now with regards to ingredients and products, or is there still much educating to do? Yes, our clients are very well informed and are extremely savvy, however there is a lot of educating to do, especially when it comes to our new molecular polypeptide and protein technologies. People don’t know that there is a natural alternative to BOTOX and fillers or new technologies to combat the effects of pollution and photo- ageing. This is an exciting new field that we are extremely interested in. We are the first company in the world to use Poly Radical Scavenging Technology in our DRÈAM and DÈLUXE creams, new Anti-Pollution technology that combats three types of radical species in our environment ROS, RCS and RNS. Extreme climates and pollution are serious issues when combatting skin-ageing, especially when living in a big city like Birmingham or London. So, we are now working with innovative new prevention technologies, which I believe is the way of the future.


You’ve collaborated with some of the most luxurious spas, such as the Mandarin Oriental and Raffles, how excited are you to work with coveted names like this and more importantly for them to give your products the seal of approval? It’s a great honour and pleasure to work with such prestigious 5-star luxury spas around the world. They only accept products that are the best of the best and use our products in their signature ‘Rolls Royce’ facial treatments. We’re very excited about the upcoming launch of our products and treatments in the new Waldorf Astoria, Bangkok, which will be spectacular.


How excited are you for your products to now be available in the UK? I interviewed the former supermodel, Sophie Anderton, who is thrilled that they are! How important is the UK market for you? The UK market is very important for our brand and we’re thrilled that the team from Cozmetica UK will be representing us here in the United Kingdom. Lloyd, Luke, Cassie and Nicky are a brilliant, young, dynamic team and we know that they will be fantastic ambassadors for our brand. Sophie Anderton is a wonderful client, she loves our products and we adore her! She uses all of our products and has a particular passion for WHITE MAGÌC and DÈLUXE. It’s been fantastic to see the amazing results she’s experienced.


What was the most difficult part of your journey in launching your own skincare range? Starting a new high-tech luxury skincare range from scratch has been extremely exciting and challenging. It hasn’t been an easy process. We took four years to create the first six products, with many failures


along the way. We had three sets of chemists working on the project in the first five years. We have had three lots of different packaging suppliers and many different ingredient suppliers from around the world. It’s been a very steep and expensive learning experience to create a brand that is so completely different and unique. For instance, it took 27 samples and four years to create DRÈAM and DÈLUXE creams. We failed 26 times but the 27th samples were fantastic, pure perfection! I have a quest for perfection and have learnt to never compromise on quality, to never accept mediocrity. It’s been a long and expensive process, so now we’ve created, perfected and positioned the brand, it’s a real joy to see it accepted as one of the best premium, advanced, anti-ageing skincare brands in the world today and to see it grow internationally.


Botox was a quick fix for many, but there is a move now for a more considered approach to turning back the clock, women want to look a better version of themselves, rather than over-processed; music to your ears? There is a huge trend towards a more natural approach. A more natural looking you. We all have choices, some are interested in the quick fix, but I’m personally interested in a powerful natural long-term solution. I have very sensitive skin myself and can’t go down the BOTOX route, so my mission has been to make a valid, natural alternative available for those who do not wish or should not take the injectables route. A lot of aesthetic clinics are now also interested in a more natural approach; they want their clients to maintain their results for longer and are recommending our products for daily home use.


You’re constantly travelling with work, hopping off planes and straight into meetings, so your skin has to look incredible; what are your top tips for looking after yourself whilst travelling? When travelling, I religiously use all my GK products, but especially my amazing PASSÌON Oil. It’s a natural miracle when travelling. My skin is so dry and dehydrated after every flight, so after cleansing I put on my serums and then my PASSÌON Oil at night and in the morning my skin is completely transformed, baby soft and smooth. Spas and Salons use PASSÌON Oil as their facial massage oil, but our clients use it all over their bodies, face, neck, hands, feet, anywhere that is dry and needs a serious moisture boost. I call it my ‘Aussie Lifesaver’.


Are you working on any exciting new products and if so can you share them with us? Yes, we are, but they’re top secret for now.


If you could describe in just a few words what type of person uses your skincare range, what would they be? Men; women; well-informed; results-focussed; quality-driven; natural preference.
