TIP enrolls Philadelphia public school teachers in semes- ter-long seminars taught by Penn professors. Par- ticipants in the seminars, called Fellows, engage intensively with a topic that is on the cutting- edge of knowledge in the sciences, arts, humani- ties or social sciences, and write an original cur- riculum unit based on what they have learned. Fellows then implement their units in their own classroom and share them through our online cur- riculum repository. in TIP in 2013. He was critical in expanding TIP’s programming to reach STEM teachers in Philadelphia. He was a Fellow in the seminar Understanding the Process of Science and Evaluation of Evidence in 2013. Reber and Tso are among 25 Fellows rec- ognized as Lindback Award winners since TIP’s founding in 2006. We congratulate all of our Lindback honorees, and all TIP Fellows who have been recognized for their outstanding work teach- ing in Philadelphia.
