• Multi function displays have improved significantly in recent years with many dedicated fishing and sailing features now accessible at much lower cost that previously were available only on professional systems. They are easy to install and have common interfaces across manufacturers.
• Marine electronics are all available across wifi - prices of new equipment have tumbled whilst their features and specifications have improved dramatically. No longer do we need to install large wiring systems to carry data and information but everything can communicate wirelessly and
can interface through a tablet or smartphone.
• The application of LEDs has had a major impact on boats from internal lighting, navigation lights, spot and underwater lights etc. Not only do LEDs last longer but they’re far less greedy in terms of power consumption.
