Cool Recovery is an independent, mental health charity working with people of all ages who are affected by mental illness; depression; bipolar disorder; Psychoses. No referral is needed. Open Mon–Thurs 10am–4pm, Weds for carers only. Purpose of the service: Support for carers and those recovering from mental health problems by providing information, practical and emotional support, volunteering opportunities and a space for people to meet informally, make friends, and help each other on their recovery path. A number of Cool Recovery groups meet in the South Hams, Teignbridge and Torbay. We work together in belief that recovery and change are possible for everyone.
