We are delighted to announce that this years’ Pantomime at the Blackfriars will be the best loved of all, yes Cinderella is coming to Boston! The story of a poor girl who lives with her impoverished father Baron Hardup and her wicked stepsisters Ravishing Rita and Wicked Wanda. A ball is held to which all the eligible girls in the Kingdom are invited including Cinderella and her ugly sisters, jealous of Cinderella the sisters steal her ticket and destroy it before her very eyes. Loveable Buttons, who secretly loves Cinderella himself tries to cheer up our heroine all to no avail. At this stage Cinderella is left crying in the kitchen when her Fairy Godmother arrives and magically spirits Cinderella to the ball in a crystal carriage. At the ball, she meets the Prince but has to fl ee the ball when the clock strikes 12 midnight, leaving behind her silver slipper. The Prince begins a search to fi nd the foot that fi ts the slipper.
