Years ago when I was a young engineer, I also was serving as an unpaid, assistant pastor in a small church. My wife and I poured our lives, time and resources into serving the Lord and diligently caring for the little flock where He had placed us.


One day, I went into the sanctuary. On the pulpit, left for me to find, was a cartoon showing a board of business directors seated at a conference table. A white collar indicated one man at the table was a minister. A microwave oven with a stained-glass church door stood in the center of the conference table. The caption below the cartoon read: “Our new board member has made his contribution to our work.” It didn’t take much insight to realize the cartoon was aimed at me, since I was the lone person arguing for using electronic media in evangelical outreach.


Satan knows how and when to attack. If we lack faith and choose to get offended, Satan will take us out of the fight to damage the Kingdom. So while this incident hurt my heart, I determined to keep walking in faith with God.

Many years have passed, and now I am leading World Missionary Evangelism. I’ve seen God use the time of my servitude in Egypt to bring WME through a period of transition into the age of electronic outreach. Electronic media provides a way to broadcast the Gospel and spread good seed as none of us could have dreamed before.


The lost are waiting, but we need to provide a message delivered in a way they can understand.

And once again, I have been challenged to step out in faith. God has provided an opportunity to team up with Dr. Randy Weiss andCrossTalk International to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ in video format to potentially millions of souls in India. This project will use dramatized video to explain “Who is Jesus?” and present “The Gospel of John.” These films will be translated into 7 major languages spoken in India including Hindi. This will place a powerful, dynamic evangelical witness for Christ into the hands of Native Missionaries, churches and ministries in India with which we are connected. The Word of God will come alive as people will be able to see, hear and understand the Gospel in their own native tongues. And included with this video series are Christian teaching materials that can be distributed to further spread the Gospel all over India.

If we employed secular personnel from the United States, this project would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. But due to joint resources, available technology and a proven methodology, we can undertake this project for the astoundingly low sum of $190,000 US dollars. THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO REACH OVER 4,000 SOULS PER $1US DOLLAR SPENT.
