Provisional figures for 2014/2015 show a total of 235 notices issued by HSE inspectors in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing sector. 177 improvement notices and 58 prohibition notices.


This figure is comparable to the 224 notices issued in 2013/2014


There were 35 prosecution cases in 2014/15 of which 32 resulted in a guilty verdict for at least one offence.


The resulting fines from these prosecutions averaged over
