Register Today for ASCA 2017 Make plans to attend ASCA 2017, May 3–6, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC. This year, ASCA’s annual meeting will offer you oppor- tunities to network with other ASC professionals, visit with exhibi- tors, meet with industry experts and attend more than 60 educational ses- sions on the key business, financial, clinical and regulatory issues you face at your ASC. Attendees also can take advantage of continuing educa- tion (CE) credits, including AEUs, offered in most sessions. Visit www.ascassociation.org/asca 2017/home to register for ACA 2017, book your hotel room and access a complete schedule. Those who have already registered but not yet booked a hotel room are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.


Represent ASCs on Capitol Hill When you attend ASCA 2017, don’t miss the opportunity to participate in ASCA’s National Advocacy Day pro- gram. This is your chance to meet face- to-face with your representatives on Capitol Hill and advocate for the poli- cies you need to support your ASC. The National Advocacy Day events


will take place May 3 and 4. Prior to your meetings on Capitol Hill, attend a one-hour training session on the legisla- tive process and issues that are relevant to ASCs. You will receive briefing mate- rials and talking points and find out who will accompany you as you visit Capi- tol Hill. ASCA also will hold a training webinar for attendees on Tuesday, April 18 at 2:00 pm ET.

He will discuss recent admin- istrative, civil and criminal enforce- ment actions against health care pro- viders’ practices and go over the risks and challenges ASCs are likely to face during the rest of 2017.
