Trust Board and Local Governance


The Trust Board is made up of members of the management team, key stakeholders, invited partners and the Chair of Governors of each school within the Trust. Each school’s Chair’s position on the central board, ensures an equality of opportunity for all schools to be represented during the decision making processes of The Pioneer Academy and to be a part of the wider organisation at a strategic level.


Local Governance will be undertaken by local people with elected parents and staff on the Governing Body of each school. A key principle that drives The Pioneer Academy, is that each school will be as autonomous as the quality of education it provides dictates.
