jobs, we work to match you with companies looking for you. With an extremely minimal time commitment on your part—uploading your resume and occasionally updating it— joining the program is a no-brainer.”

Is it guaranteed that JobMatch will find you a job?

“Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that everyone who is looking for a job will find one through us,” Taborn advises.

“Our service is a supplemental tool to your existing job search, and we hope to be able to match you with a position.”

For more information, e-mail Talent Management Specialist Courtney Taborn at Ctaborn@ccgmag.com, and fill out the JobMatch survey for select JobMatch offers at CCG career events.

Another point of contact is CCG Recruitment Manager Rod Carter. He is a talent scout who spots rising undergraduate and graduate STEM student stars across America.

Rod Carter, CCG Recruitment Manager www.hispanicengineer.com

s the recruitment manager of Career Communications Group, I am an agent for undergraduate and graduate STEM students. As an advocate and sometimes a trouble shooter for potential STEM employees, it has

been challenging and rewarding. The greatest feeling that I have had has been the follow-up telephone conversations , thank-you letters and Facebook messages from Women of Color (WOC) and BEYA conference participants expressing their gratitude for either obtaining an internship or permanent job offer or having the opportunity of experiencing WOC and BEYA.

“It becomes apparent that they received an "A" in the "Soft Skills" module of the "Job Match Certification Program.

Appropriate business dress attire, professional resume writing techniques, and savvy interview techniques are also components of the "Job Match Certification Program.

Students who participate in either the WOC or BEYA conferences will have the opportunity to obtain continuing education units to satisfy the Job Match certification. Being a participant at either WOC or BEYA conference seminars will add to the Job Match certification. Also, the flexibility of participating on-line has benefited the students regarding their time management approach.”
