Cucamelon (Melothria scabra) Cucamelons are ideal for snacking, pickling or adding to salads. These tiny, green striped fruit have a delicious and unique flavour and the kids will love them. Start these vining plants indoors. Their roots can be stored overwin- ter and replanted the following year.


G Star organic squash This pretty green patty pan has an attractive saucer shape and scalloped edges. Plants are highly productive and compact. Squash matures in 55 days and is best harvest- ed at two to four inches in diameter. Fruit is excellent for sautéing, grilling or in stir-fries.


Lettuce ‘Baby-Leaf’ (Lactuca sativa) Bred for the quality of their immature leaves, these can be grown in trays or sewn outdoors every three weeks for fresh crops all season long. They are best harvested at 35 to 40 days. Multiple varieties are available in six single leaf varieties and two blends.


Microgreen cilantro sprout (Coriandrum sativum) Full cilantro flavor in a wonderfully tender microgreen. Cilantro is one of the easiest microgreens to grow and is effective in helping to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood. Microgreens are a fantastic and easy way to add healthy foods to your diet. They are perfect for a window- sill or dorm room.

Organic soybean ‘Butterbeans’ (Glycine max 'Butter- beans') Love ordering edamame at your local Japanese restaurant? Grow the beans in your own backyard and enjoy them whenever you like. Soybeans can be used as a fresh shell- ing bean or steamed whole as an edamame. Edamame is the preparation of soybeans which are not entirely ripe and served with salt. Beans have a buttery flavour. Reaches full maturity in 90 days.


Organic squash ‘Winter Sweet’ Fantastic flavour! Plants produce light gray fruit averaging four to five pounds. A very reliable producer and excel- lent storage squash. For best results eat two to five months after picking. Matures in 95 days.


Pepper ‘Time Bomb’ (Capsicum annuum ‘Time bomb’) Red-hot cherry peppers that pack some significant heat, these are the ideal size for pickling. The plant is a vigorous grower and produces a heavy yield of small round peppers one and a half inches round.

‘White Carolina’) Recently introduced from Europe, pineberries are a white hybrid strawberry with red seeds. Their striking colour will capture everyone’s attention and their unique pineapple flavour is sure to keep people talking. Self-fertilizing, they will produce fruit in their second year. Hardy to Zone 2.
