The team sheets always read like a Who’s Who of polo and each game is so important that even if the players are not in action on the field, they can always be found watching the games intently, keeping a close eye on their rivals’ tactics and ponies. Sponsored by leading jewellery brand Cartier since 2012, the event brings the brand’s unique blend of glamour, style and elegance to this world-famous high goal polo competition. The Queen’s Cup Trophy was first presented by HM The Queen in 1960 and Her Majesty historically attends Finals Day, this year on Sunday 14th June, to present the Cup to the winning patron. She is invariably joined in the Royal Box by leading names from stage, screen and sport. The Cartier Queen’s Cup is always 22-goal polo at its best, with players and ponies at the top of their game.
