Westchester County Business Journal • ARTSWNEWS ARTS BASH PRESS CONFERENCE: Announcing “Boardwalk Bites”

Representatives from participating ArtsBash restaurants answer the question: What is a "Boardwalk Bite"?

“A ‘Boardwalk Bite’ to me is something flavorful, colorful, and fun! Whether it is light and sweet, like cotton candy; soft and creamy, like ice cream; or thick and juicy, like a burger; it is something that simultaneously signifies summer and tastes delicious!”

Chefs from restaurants throughout the county gathered on Monday, March 12 at 42 Restaurant to collaborate on the creative relationship between arts and food in Westchester. In preparation for ArtsWestchester's 13th Annual ArtsBash on May 18, chefs shared their interpretations of this year’s “Boardwalk Bites” food theme. Over 30 restaurants

will participate in the ArtsBash, where guests can taste signature dishes, explore work by over 20 local artists in our exciting Sculpture: On and Off the Wall exhibition and tour artist studios.

“Boardwalk Bites, to me, is food so fresh and delicious that it steers your mind away from all of your troubles. It adds to the enjoyment of leisure and relaxation.”
