New chef Doug Moloznik, a long-time University City resident, has taken charge of the Smokey’s kitchen and developed a menu friendly to both finger-food inclined bar goers and local residents seeking a lunch or dinner - a cut above the usual bar fare. Chef Doug intends to ex- pand the menu as demand increases, but offers some innovative dishes like tuna steaks prepared with Asian spices and topped with a fresh orange-mango salsa. Salads include a classic ap- proach to both Caesar salad and Cobb salad. “Whatever I make must be the best it can be – regard- less of cost.” Hence, Doug makes an unusual burger

Wursthaus Schmitz, a Ger- man-themed stand will join the Reading Terminal Market with an opening planned by Memorial Day. It will face Center Court in the former Spice Ter- minal location.
