Mr. Sheffield will assume the Chairman role from Scott L. Thompson, who will remain on the Board. Earlier this month, Mr. Thompson was named Chairman of the Board of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, where he also serves as President and CEO, and in light of the increased demands on his time requested that the Board consider choosing a new Chairman.

The Ulven Companies Promote Tammy Sievers to Director of Human Resources The Ulven Companies are pleased to announce the promotion of Tammy Sievers to the position of Director of Human Resources. Sievers has been working in Human Resources for the Ulven Companies for over 16 years and has continued to take on increased responsibilities in the area. Shortly after she was hired, Ms. Sievers performed a variety of tasks in Finance


and Accounting, which then lead her to handling various HR functions throughout the company. From there she worked as an area manager for many years before being promoted to her current position. In her new position, Sievers will be


working on developing Human Resource programs for TUC in such areas as organizational development, indoctrination and training, employee relations, and employee compensation and benefits. She will also be working to improve safety and health and the overall culture of the company. Company President, Dan Ulven noted,

Lift-It Mfg. Promotes Mike Gelskey, Jr. to Vice President and Announces New Addition to Sales Team Lift-It Mfg. recently announced Michael J. Gelskey, Jr.’s promotion to Vice President. He currently serves as General Manager and as Quality Director for Lift-It Manufacturing. Mike Jr. began working in the family business at the age of 13 and graduated from Bonita High School in 1994. He has worked in all areas of manufacturing since 1991. In 1992, he set up the Lift-It Twin-Path


production department and has been a valuable technical consultant for the Slingmax organization for the past twenty years. Mike Gelskey Jr. was


instrumental in the initial, company registration to the ISO-9001 Quality Standard and now the upgraded registration to the prestigious AS9100 Quality Standard.
