The journey from the Maltese mainland provides you with the perfect opportunity to get your wedding off to a special start. For many the short trip is made via a simple ferry, this is both regular and affordable which makes it extremely convenient for guests making the trip. However for those wanting a more spectacular entrance for their big day why not ride waves and charter a yacht, zoom over in a speed boat or perhaps make a real splash by flying in by seaplane!

Gozo is commonly referred to as the Island of Calypso; a name that originates from the Greek mythological location of Ogygia in Homer’s Odyssey. In the legendary epic, it is said that on this island Ulysses was bewitched by the nymph Calypso and spent seven long years as a prisoner of love. The fabled cave which served as Ulysses’s home can still be visited today, perched in the cliff face overlooking Ramla l-Hamra, one of Gozo’s most spectacular beaches.
