CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY OFFICER Salary range: £20,128 - £24,418 per annum, plus free on-site parking
We are looking for a hard working, highly organised professional who is passionate about providing a range of children’s activities on behalf of Woking Borough Council.
This is a full-time (37 hours per week), permanent post. You must be able to work the pattern of hours necessary for the service - to include weekends, evenings and public holidays.
In this role you will develop, implement and continually review the provision of children’s activities within Woking Leisure Centre and Pool in the Park. Based at Woking Leisure Centre you will be line managed by the Assistant Leisure Services Manager and will work closely with other colleagues, especially during school holidays.
You must have an eye for identifying new opportunities for the service and be able to make things happen. You will have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and have experience and knowledge of developing and undertaking activity programmes for children.
As this job involves contact with children and/or vulnerable adults, successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau.
