tool in the industry, LIFE CYCLE COST (LCC) from Conklin & de Decker, provides aircraft owners, operators, fl ight department managers, and aircraft consultants with independently researched ownership and operating cost data for more than 460 jets, turboprops, helicopters and piston aircraft.

“Life Cycle Cost is a powerful tool with extensive

fi nancial and budgeting capabilities that today’s aviation professionals will appreciate,” states David Wyndham, president and co-owner of Conklin & de Decker. “It is imperative that your budgeting data is current and our detailed, pre-loaded data makes it easy to create a comprehensive budget for any aviation operation.” The latest version of LIFE CYCLE COST includes updated fuel, maintenance, inspection (jets) and acquisition costs. In addition, Citation CJ3+, Challenger 650, Gulfstream G650ER business jets and the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopter were added. Output from the LCC program helps users by providing the operations department with a 12-month budget analysis or up-to a 20-year cost projection for variable and fi xed costs. The program calculates the Net Present Value (NPV) and after-tax cash fl ow for a corporate or commercial program. This enables the fi nance department to quickly compare the net present value of diff erent acquisition or disposition methods for multiple aircraft while also learning

more about the factors (betterment/detriment) that aff ect an aircraft’s value.

LIFE CYCLE COST subscribers will also receive access to Conklin & de Decker’s AircraftPediaTM, a unique on-line aircraft reference tool containing interior and exterior aircraft drawings, hi-resolution aircraft color images, histories, and general cost, performance, and engine information. Other free tools and information available online are Max Range at Long Range Cruise, Aircraft Alias and Engine Installation summaries, Aircraft Variable Cost, and the Aircraft CO2 Calculator. All this information can be accessed via any web-browser, including the iPad and other mobile devices.
