Downers Grove has the distinction of being recently named one of the top 10 “Friendliest Towns in America” by Forbes Magazine. There are more than 150 restaurants and a large variety of shops, including many in vibrant downtown Downers Grove. Two main attractions include the Tivoli Theater, one of the first “talkie” movie theaters in the country; and the Downers Grove Golf Club, the site of America’s 1st 18-hole golf course.

Downers Grove is located in the heart of the I-88 and I-355 corridors, 22 miles west of Chicago. O’Hare International Airport, Midway Airport, and Chicago’s Loop are all less than a 30 minute drive, and Downers Grove has three Metra stations offering commuter rail service to Union Station in Chicago.
