See how Spinosaurus caught fi sh.

 

Pressure sensors at the tip of its nose could sense movement of prey. Nostrils halfway up its skull let it breathe as it searched for prey underwater or in mud.

Spinosaurus may have used its head and neck to hunt like a heron. It could dart forward and snap up fi sh with its long and narrow snout.

Like a crocodile, Spinosaurus had teeth that interlocked. Long, sharp, and shaped like cones, they could easily grab and hold onto slippery, wriggling prey.
