Museums Arizona’s cultural venues offer

settings that attendees are unlikely to forget. Delve into the region’s flora with an event at the Desert Botanical Garden, Chihuly in the Garden is on display through May, 2014. Te Heard Museum is an inimitable representation of Native American art and folklore. Culture cravers will seek out Taliesin West, architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s one-time winter retreat, and Cosanti, the workshop of futurist Paolo Soleri. All offer a distinctive meeting venue that will provide the entertainment, conversation and ambiance that will leave your attendees in awe.

Historical Sites Arizona celebrated its 100th

birthday in 2012, so while not ‘old’ by some standards, there is no shortage of historical properties to choose from when selecting your meeting location. Historic hotels are still standing and operating today, such as the first air-conditioned San Carlos Hotel in downtown Phoenix and the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, built in 1913, which has hosted everyone from Bing Crosby to Cher. In Northern Arizona, the Hassayampa Inn in Prescott, built in 1927 offers meeting planners a slice of Western charm. Tere are also a number of famous historical homes to choose from for a more intimate meeting experience. Wrigley Mansion, the winter home of gum-magnate William Wrigley Jr., and Hermosa Inn, the Paradise Valley residence of legendary cowboy artist Lon Megargee, are both good options.
