HOG RALLY BY BATTECH ENTERPRISES A fun ride for the little ones is this new product from American manufacturer Battech. Each bike features an air cylinder that propels it into a “wheelie” as kids pull the throttle or press a button. Featuring eight bikes, the attraction can accommodate up to 24 children or eight adults, or a combination of the two (with adults in the sidecar). The first unit was delivered earlier this year to the carnival operator PJB Happy Days, followed by a park installation. A third will be on display this February at the Gibtown exhibition in Florida. Although Battech does

battechrides.com GRAPHIC SLIDE BY BN PERFORMANCE RIDES

A slide is just a slide, right? Italian manufacturer BN Perfomance Rides thinks not. This new four-lane bumpy/wave slide features custom graphics on the slide surface. For just an extra €10,000 over the cost of the company’s best-selling Rapid Raft Slide, customers can have the image of their choice printed in high resolution – creating an eye-catching sight both for riders, parents and passers-by. The four-lane slide is available as both a travelling version, with a minimal set-up time, and a park version. Heights range from 13 to 37-metres. A six-lane version is also available, or custom park configurations to suit. The first two units went into operation this earlier this year with showmen in Sweden and France (pictured). Requests have since been received from potential customers in Saudi Arabia and Texas.

& PUPPY JUMP BY BOB’S SPACE RACERS

The new group game from Bob’s Space Racers (BSR) is Jumpin’ Monkeys. It’s colourful, engaging and just a little bit different. Players simply push the button to make their monkey jump the rope – a fun action. The more they jump the higher the score.

A single player version of the game is available in cabinet form for arcades. Called Puppy Jump, it dispenses redemption tickets based on the player’s score. BSR introduced a total of six new games at the recent IAAPA

Attraction Expo. In addition to those highlighted above there’s also Clownin’ Around, Pick a Penguin, Dolphin Dip and the water game Fire Rescue. See them now on the BSR website, or coming soon in Park World.
