U.S. champions blog their way to Sochi With the 2014 Olympic Winter Games just one year away, the nation’s best skaters

are taking to the Internet, blogging about their preparation every step of the way, as each experience brings them closer to Sochi, Russia, and their Olympic dream. Reigning Olympic silver medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White have been named

as “Winter Bloggers” for TeamUSA.org, along with 2012 U.S. pairs champion John Coughlin. 2012 U.S. champion Ashley Wagner has joined the blogosphere as well, sharing her season with ESPNW, a division of ESPN devoted to women’s sports. In each personally written and publicly shared account, athletes provide insight on

the road to sport’s grandest stage. Most recent posts have Davis recalling the experience of performing in the Olympic venue at the Grand Prix Final, White describing “A Day in the Life” of an elite athlete in training and Coughlin detailing the determination it takes to rebound from injury and return to the ice. • To read Davis’ blog, visit http://www.teamusa.org/ Team-USA-Winter-Blog- gers/ Meryl-Davis.aspx
