Multifunctional for Surgery, Implantology and Bone-Transplantation
The new trephine program by Meisinger of fers, for the first time, a complete as sort ment of high-qua lity trephine burs. These trephine drills are per fect ly suited for precise and simple transplantation of cylin drical bone grafts as well as for all other bone-withdrawal tasks in the dental practice. The as sort ment contains trephine burs in three levels of depths. The depth level 10mm was de ve loped in particular for application in maxil lofacial surgery (bone- cap preparation or bone fenestration), while the depth levels 14mm and 18mm can be used in con ventional (dental) bone-surgery for bone withdrawal purposes. The optimal stability of the tre phine burs is ensured by a completely new design that in clu des a large slotted side design. This “win dow” allows for additio nal cooling through irriga tion and easy expulsion of the removed bone. Well recognizable level laser marking of the instruments in steps of 2mm facilitates safe depth orientation during bone- preparation. With trephine burs the build-up of heat in surrounding tissues remains low, apically through a straddled denticulation and ra dially by the large slotted perforations.
These large slots furthermore permit an easy expulsion of the bone preparations. The instruments are classified according to their inside diameter. The size of the preparation corresponds to the inner diameter of the trephine bur (2.0mm to 12.0mm corres pond with a depth level of 10mm, and 3.0mm to 8.0mm widths correspond with depth levels of 14mm and 18mm).
Advantages • Cutting design with straddled denticulation for non-traumatic preparation
• Depth level marks at 2mm increments • Large slotted perforations for greater cooling • Easy expulsion of obtained bone cylinders • Significantly higher stability through innovative design
• Minimally invasive instruments with wall thickness of 0.5mm
