French Phonics Tubs Listening to and understanding phonic sounds are important for developing children’s language skills. By listening to and becoming familiar with them, children will learn that letters stand for the sounds that they hear in words. Developed by a phonics specialist, this set of 33 tubs can be used to teach the different sounds and the different spellings of the sounds in the French language. Inside each tub, there are five visual items to represent the different spellings of that particular sound, helping children to see how different spellings can create the same sounds. There is a label on each tub so that all of the items can be replaced into the correct container and a simple storage box which keeps all of the tubs in one place, ensuring you can find the sound which you wish to focus on. Teacher notes included. 1S9-371
