Make the Shot Count Every Time....
If accurate shooting is the goal then it is necessary to have all the data. Crosswind is one of the most fundamental influences on a shot taken at long range. Even medium crosswind velocities (~5 m/sec) along the flight path of a bullet can cause 1 metre deviations at 500 metres. Temperature, humidity and density altitude also play a part in ballistics performance, and are incorporated in to most advanced portable targeting computer applications.
