Northern British Columbia
Northern British Columbia stretches from awesome Mount Robson in the east to Haida Gwaii (formerly the Queen Charlottes) in the west and north to the Yukon border. The area’s rivers and streams run with record- sized salmon and steelhead. Here is an abundance of wildlife – some very rare including the “white” black bear, the Kermode and the stone ram. This is also the land of great scenery, totem poles, heritage towns and villages.
