Triumph stays with Equity Direct E

quity Direct Broking (EDBL) has retained its affinity partnership with Triumph Motorcycles, following a tender process. EDBL will administer the “Triumph Rider” insurance programme for the next three years, securing potential access to around 80,000 UK Triumph owners. A new quote and buy website has been set up, with direct links to Triumph’s site, with individual dealer web links to be added in the coming weeks. To celebrate the launch, a “Win a Tiger” (Triumph’s latest model, pictured) prize draw competition is open to all riders seeking motorcycle insurance quotes. It is being advertised on the Motor Cycle News website. Charles Offord, EDBL managing director, says Equity had previously administered the Triumph account under a licence endorsement agreement for about ten years, but now it enjoys a far closer and binding arrangement. He adds that “.... it’s a real indication of our growing strength in the motorbike market that Triumph chose us as its partner”.

“A quarter of a million people are living with a long-term disability as a result of a stroke in the UK. With the economic climate still unpredictable and consumers tightening their belts, we wanted to offer real choice and give The Stroke

Association’s supporters the option to pick what cover they really need when travelling. As a broker, we want to make sure the cover matches the needs of people affected by stroke and they are not paying more than they need.”
