Area Manager, Brighton c. £45,000

If you’re an energetic customer service champion, this could be the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills. A train company that’s passionate about delivering the best possible experience to all our passengers, Southern is currently looking for someone to head up the teams that run some of our busiest stations.

Based in Brighton, but covering a number of locations in the region, you’ll provide leadership, coaching and direction to our station teams. As well as dealing effectively with the wide range of stakeholder interests that impact on our activities, you’ll work to ensure we achieve ever higher results in the crucial National Passenger Survey.

While a rail background would be useful, it’s by no means essential. You could equally bring experience of frontline service delivery in another customer-facing environment – perhaps retail, leisure or hospitality. Whatever your background, you’ll definitely bring the proven ability to lead diverse teams to deliver truly first-class customer service.
