Bing, The Update:
The World’s B
Do You Have What It Takes T
MANY of you will remember the story of
Bing, the deaf, practically blind Border
Collie who we featured in Issue 23 of K9
Magazine. Bing is a remarkable dog
who, despite his physical limitations,
tries to live life to the max. He’s active,
curious and very friendly and he won
himself a lot of fans at K9 Magazine.
Recently, Bing’s owner contacted us with a
challenge. She’s been trying to find a
trainer to help Bing. He does most of his
learning from his canine friend, Darry, but
he still requires some extra help. Obvi-
ously, this isn’t your standard job, as Bing
can barely see and is completely deaf.
Most communication with Bing is done by
touch. Clorissa, Bing’s owner has sent us
a list of Bing’s biggest challenges, to help
illustrate his training requirements.
