This classic British series made a triumphant
return to television in 2005 and rapidly
established itself as the BBC’s flagship
programme. GE Fabbri launched its Doctor
Who magazine and trading card collection
a year later and created a massive craze,
selling millions of packs of cards. In 2009,
GE followed this up with a new DVD series.
Trading cards and sales have
been phenomenal
and the partwork generally has grown the
overall market to everybody’s benefit
