The Anna’s hummingbird eats more insects than any other North American hummingbird. Often, it plucks spiders and trapped insects from spider webs.


The bee hummingbird is the tiniest hummingbird. It’s 6.4 centimeters long but half of that is its bill and tail!


The giant hummingbird is the largest hummingbird. It measures 22 centimeters long and weighs less than 28 grams.
