T e Institute is currently accepting applications for instructors in all areas of metalcasting. Candidates should:


• Have teaching and/or coaching experience


• Possess 5 years of hands-on experience in the metalcasting industry


• Feel comfortable with speaking to large groups


• Be willing to teach at least twice per year and travel


• Wish to participate in a train-the- trainer program, and a yearly evaluation and improvement process

QUALITY MANAGER/SAFETY DIRECTOR—an es- tablished Midwest sand mining company is looking for an experienced quality manager/safety director. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: products quality at all production stages; mainte- nance and calibration of testing equipment; conduct research and development testing (customer or in-plant); troubleshoot problems (at customer or in-plant); SPC data and charts; writing and auditing quality and production procedures; air and water sampling for local DEQ; submission of air and water reports; monitor permit requirements; initial safety training of new employees; schedule/maintain fi rst aid training; schedule/maintain annual audio and respiratory testing; schedule annual safety train- ing; maintain records as required by MSHA; escort MSHA inspectors during plant inspections; product inventory, recording and reporting. Experience and qualifi cations: quality management experience in a foundry environment. We offer a complete benefi t package including medical, dental, life insurance, short term disability, 401K and profi t sharing, tuition reimbursement, vacation pay and holiday pay.
