olf, meet my friend beer pong. I’d also like to

introduce you to a time- less arcade game from my childhood: skeeball. I’m glad you guys could

finally meet. I’ve been thinking about ways to introduce golf to my back- yard, or my living room, but this is even better. The Puttskee can

be played anywhere. It even folds up into a clean compact box that can be wheeled to tailgates like a suitcase. It’s a portable TopGolf for putting— endless hours of entertain- ment, combined with fun games, best enjoyed while paired with beverages. The original Puttskee game is a skeeball-like golf hole. You can play stroke play or match play, over nine or 18 holes, or even create better-ball games for larger gatherings. The Puttskee can also switch out into a Skeeball board, or—my favorite—a beer pong setup. I’ve daydreamed of a

chipping version of beer pong, or a putting ver- sion of shuffleboard, but never something as cool as this. Born from discarded barstool boxes and duct- taped plastic cups, Nick Bahash built his cardboard prototype of the Puttskee in 2010. Puttskee continued to be the life of the party when his friends would encounter it. “It didn’t matter what

eryone had to play it,” said Bahash, who was a scratch golfer in high school. “That’s really what got me interested in pursing the idea of developing this.” Bahash worked with

a friend skilled in wood- working to craft a foldable version on wheels last year. Each Puttskee is hand- crafted with sturdy Baltic Birchwood and an all- weather putting mat.

Bahash showcased the

Puttskee at an LPGA event this summer, picked up some social media hits from Callaway Live and Golf Digest, and his game has been ordered all across the country since. “The main reason I made the first Puttskee is for people to have fun,” said Bahash, a 30-year-old anxious to take Puttskee to tailgates at his alma mater,

the University of Arkansas. “That hasn’t changed at all. I hope The Puttskee can help someone learn to love the game of golf, which in my opinion is the greatest game there is.” Cheers to that.
