Following the departure of

Eddie Barcan as Cambridge Folk Festival director and the announcement that Bev Burton from Killer B Music (Hop Farm, Wood Festival, Benicassim and Desert Fest) will take over as booker next year, Jon Boden has been announced as Guest Curator for the 2017 Festival. Jon will programme up to five artists appearing across the festival’s four stages and festival weekend and will personally introduce each of his selected artists live onstage. Jon will be on-site all weekend presenting additional unique happenings and the odd surprise event in his Guest Curator role.

Always good to hear of the positive impact of festivals; the 2016 Hebridean Celtic Festival generated more than £2.2 million for the islands’ economy and helped safeguard 40 tourism- related jobs. hebceltfest.com
