The Analysis Forums

Looking forward to an exciting new year

The coming year is set to bring some important new opportunities for the forums and their members

Laurie Beagle Managing director, Forums International lauriebeagle@forumsinternational.co.uk

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our members, partners and supporters for helping to make 2016 a truly memorable year for Forums International. We ran 37 events in the UK and Europe,

and have seen the groups grow and prosper. We provide events for over 250 members

across the credit profession and have plans in place for two new forums in early 2017. We would also like to take the opportunity

to welcome Paul Hodgson to the Forums International team. He joins as international business development manager and will be joining us at our events this year.

New forums So, let us look to the future – and the new forums that the New Year will bring: l Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Forum – this group will hold its first meeting in Stratford-upon-Avon on 16 February. For further details, please e-mail us at pmf@forumsinternational.co.uk. l International Apparel Forum – this forum is being re-launched and will hold its first meeting on 23 March at Nike in Amsterdam. For more details, please e-mail iaf@forumsinternational.co.uk. We are also very pleased to announce that CoCredo and Every

Angle have joined us as corporate partners. We are sure they will bring added value to their respective forums.

Forum change The 2iCF is changing its focus and will become the ICF (International Credit Forum). This forum is open to all companies trading internationally. It will meet in Europe and have shared meetings with the Export Credit Forum (ECF) in London.

The lighter side On a lighter note, we will again be holding the Forums International Golf Tournament, but this time with an archery competition for the non-golfers. The date is 18 May. Hopefully the day will remain rain free, in stark contrast to 2016!

CCRInteractive In support of CCRMagazine and CCRInteractive, this year we have agreed that Forums International will chair the Export Stream. We are looking for sponsors and expert speakers to ensure we deliver a quality stream. I am sure Brexit will feature.
