Product News MITSUBISHI Lush is now able to deliver energy efficient
air conditioning to employees at its new office space in Poole thanks to the installation of Mitsubishi Electric’s City Multi VRF heat recovery system.
Modern Facilities Services installed 12 ceiling-suspended City Multi VRF indoor units and one floor-positioned unit. The system is able to move excess heat to other parts of the
building which need heating, helping to deliver high levels of efficiency. The City Multi system also offers energy saving performance, advanced control systems and flexibility of design for specifiers and installers. Two Lossnay Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) units were also installed at the site in order to remove stale air from the office. The units operate by capturing up to 80% of the temperature of the outgoing air, meaning less energy is needed to bring fresh outdoor air up to the indoor temperature.

WATERLOO
The £170 million redevelopment of Glan Clwyd Hospital in North Wales has seen Waterloo Air Products provide a wide range of air terminal devices. Delivered by main contractor Laing O’Rourke, the seven-year project to redevelop the main hospital site in Bodelwyddan has seen Waterloo provide over 600 of its air distribution products.

specified across the various phases. This multi-cone, multi-directional diffuser easily mounts in a lay-in ceiling.
The ability to remove the central core, allows easy cleaning and maintenance, providing the ideal solution to maintaining high standards of hygiene. Waterloo also supplied its Vane Swirl Diffusers. Designed for rapid mixing of air in high ceiling areas and ideal for controlling airflow, these diffusers feature adjustable deflectors enabling different discharge directions.
