Aircontec – air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation: The Air Conditioning Forum will take place in the North Foyer of Hall 11.1 as a complementary addition to the innovations of exhibitors in the field of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation. This new information and communication platform has been devised by the Building Climate Trade Association (Fachverband Gebäude Klima e.V. - FGK) in conjunction with Messe Frankfurt. In short stimulus talks, to be followed by subsequent panel discussions, a number of high- calibre speakers will pick up on current issues and burning questions in the field of air conditioning and ventilation engineering.

Planned questions to be dealt with will include: “15 months of the ErP Directive and market surveillance - what is people's experience so far?”

Free guided tours offer the opportunity to find your way around and speak with colleagues in your own field

And: “In which direction will domestic ventilation develop, in the face of what is, now, an extremely broad range of products?” In cooperation with Messe Frankfurt, the Association of German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Companies (Verband Deutscher

Kälte-Klima-Fachbetriebe e.V. – VDKF), will be organising the 'IKK Building Forum' in Hall 10.2. Here, specialist businesses will be promoting future-proof system solutions for planners, engineers and architects, as well as for innovative tradespeople and facility managers. The exhibition will be complemented by a number of lectures by experts in the field, held in the neighbouring lecture forum. Free guided tours offer an excellent opportunity to find one's way around the products on display and to enter into conversation with colleagues in one’s own field. For the first time, there will be thematic tours specifically aimed at visitors in the skilled installation trades. The Gentner Verlag publishing house is offering several guided tours every day on subjects such as ventilation, air conditioning & refrigeration, as well as heat generation and distribution. In addition, there will again be guided tours of the show for architects and planners (both in German and English), as well as for builders, operators, representatives of local and municipal authorities, including the staff of building and planning departments. Organisations and companies offering guided

tours include, amongst others, World Architects, the Bauverlag publishing house and Heinze GmbH, as well as the German Society for Economic Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit mbH). Dates and times, together with the opportunity to register and further information on the guided tours, will be available in the run up to ISH at: www.ish.messe- frankfurt.com under the heading 'Events'. Fostering young talent: an issue for the whole

sector There are a number of interesting things on offer, specifically with the new generation in mind. Interested parties can get information about various training and professional development opportunities in the dedicated area 'Meetingpoint Future'. On the 'Job Day', visitors can talk directly and in per- son to staff from the human resources departments of the respective companies at their stands. Information about which companies will be participating will be published shortly before ISH 2017.
