This season will see Moda Footwear enhance its line-up with a selection of leading labels never before seen at the event. Joining the show’s extensive offer of established and returning brands, the debuting collections will add a new dimension to the a/w 17 buying season.

A

utumn is set to launch in style this season as Moda Footwear returns with its new season offer. Renowned as the sector’s essential trade exhibition

with an extensive offer across the men’s, women’s and children’s categories, the show has diversified once again with the addition of new arrivals.

Already established on the radar of many retailers but never before seen

at the show, Hotter makes its debut this February. The comfort specialist will reveal its latest autumn styles with its signature comfort built in to each and every step. The Lancashire-based manufacturer is already a firm consumer favourite and, for the first time ever, Moda visitors will be able to discover the brand’s forward-order styles at the show.

At the more trend-led end of the women’s footwear spectrum, Candice

Cooper will turn heads when it arrives from Italy this season. Founded in 2006 by sneaker connoisseur Christophe Siegel, the brand is characterised by creative and high quality casual style, and the luxurious embellishment of the essential sneaker.

“Each pair of Candice Cooper sneakers is truly one of a kind, with its

premium leather uppers, exceptional prints, embossing and hand-worked soles,” says UK agent Garry Moore. “Moda was our show of choice because it is convenient for buyers wherever they may be in the country, and we are looking forward to unveiling the unique qualities of our brand.”

Other women’s footwear labels making their debut this time around

include quirky British designer and high street favourite Joe Browns, and Spanish leather specialist Regarde le Ciel.

Representing the family lifestyle sector, Nero Giardini will make its Moda

Footwear debut. The established European leader is proudly made in Italy, with a high regard for premium selected leather, classic and contemporary styling and a wide appeal across the spectrum of the trade.

Also appealing to men and women across the age demographics, Celdes is

a new addition to Moda Footwear that is unique in its approach to design. The canvas shoe specialist is inspired by global travel as suggested by its name – an abbreviation of celebrity destinations – and emblazons tribute graphics of each country across its signature canvas shoes.

For little feet meanwhile, newcomers BiBi and ShoesMe will arrive from

Brazil and the Netherlands respectively, boosting the already-comprehensive line up at Mini Moda. For new arrival Shoesme, the correct development of little feet is the focus. Already established across Europe, the Dutch- manufactured collection presents shoes for every stage from pre-walkers up to teenagers in flexible and supportive leather.

Fellow new arrival BiBi encompasses years of Brazilian craftsmanship with

global trends in children’s footwear. Founded in 1949 in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the brand is already established in 65 countries worldwide and will make its UK debut at Mini Moda, presenting styles in Brazilian leather for ages 0 to 12 years.

Established Moda exhibitors El Naturalista and Art will also expand into

Mini Moda for the first time this season, exhibiting their children’s collections from a dedicated platform in addition to maintaining a presence within the wider Moda Footwear exhibition.

“Mini Moda is the only UK show for quality children’s footwear retailers so

it is the ideal platform from which to launch a new range to the UK,” says Michael Schlaeppi, UK agent for both El Naturalista and Art children’s ranges. “Both children’s collections from El Naturalista and Art are new to the UK, but their adult ranges are already successfully sold by independents. We are looking forward to attracting more children’s footwear specialists looking for new ranges offering high quality products that are made in Spain with a good fit and distinctive design.”
